"Coming from an impoverished background and being forced to hustle in the streets to survive at a young age, I lacked positive role models and mentorship, and was never exposed to a real solution that could transform my life and empower me in my journey of redemption.
Being a returning citizen also exposed me to the struggles of securing gainful employment with a sustainable income when you possess a felony record and no real work history or trade-skill, rebuilding my life, and achieving positive and successful reentry.
All of this was the catalyst to eventually build Solvent Impact, a tech-driven empowerment platform for the incarcerated System Impacted by the formally incarcerated System Impacted.”
